Walt Disney once said “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Michael and Katharine Ormond may not have realized it when their child was born, but Elias, named after Disney, was destined to embody his namesake’s message. Elias was born with Fanconi Anemia, primarily a blood disease, but one that can affect all systems of the body. He was referred to New Perceptions to receive services from our professional therapists. His parents dreamed of the abilities his son would gain to become stronger and more independent and with the help of his therapists, doctors, and his loving parents, Elias has realized many of his dreams!
